Marketing Officer (Edtech) – Based in Beijing

Job title: Marketing Officer*
Salary: Basic up to ￥12,000 RMB per month

Our client is the world’s leading educational software and learning analytics company. To support their growth in China, they have recently set up a new office in Beijing. They are now looking for a proactive and dynamic Marketing Officer* to support their events and workshops in China. The role will report to the Head of China based in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive and long-term relationship with existing customers to maintain client retention;
• Meet face to face with potential customers to provide product demonstration and handle any enquiries;
• Arrange and attend workshops and events, prepare different activities and the content to be delivered in these events;
• Generate new leads through cold calling and contacting potential clients from events as well as company’s database;
• Develop engaging, creative and innovative content on social media to promote company’s branding;
• Audit and analyse social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns;
• Conduct research on developments within the K-12 sector that directly relate to the Company’s products and their position within the sector;
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Business or Science related majors;
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience;
• Event and workshop management experience;
• Experience writing articles on social media platform, additional experience in translating marketing materials from English to Chinese would be a plus;
• Flexible, proactive, and resilient;
• Experience working with internal or external parties across different time zone is a plus;
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin);
• Eligible to work in China without VISA sponsorship.
