Job Title: Bilingual (EN/GR) speaking ICT Engineer

Location: Vienna, Austria

Salary: up to €56,000 + 20% bonus

Status: Permanent, Full-time

Language Skills: English & German are a must, Czech is advantageous

The Company

Our client is one of the major telecommunications companies in the world. To support their continual growth, they are now looking for an ICT Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal and external clients, end-users and senior staff to clarify, resolve IT requirements and development needs;
• Manage, design and deliver the development of a specialist aspect of IT provision such as network and data center operations, service delivery and quality control;
• Oversee and work closely with the technical team, conduct training for new members, create plans for future infrastructure projects and be responsible for implementation;
• Evaluate and optimise the performance of the network operation infrastructure and systems;
• Lead in pro-active identification, mitigation and removal of operational risks, plan and control maintenance to ensure SLA and efficiency.
• Responsible for the development of the data center; test network and operation and maintenance; office network construction, LAN & WAN and operation, and maintenance;
• construction and operation and maintenance; overseas branch network construction and operation and maintenance;
• Responsible for developing and testing of SDN network construction and operation and maintenance;
• Participate in the network construction management of the cloud management platform.

Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience;
• Occasional travel will be required
• Flexible and proactive;
• Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and prioritise;
• Strong Networking skills with a CCNP Routing and Switching or HCNP Routing and Switching preferred;
• Knowledge of multi-vendors (Cisco, Huawei, Juniper …) Routers/Switches/IT Security and firewall technologies/IP Telephone configuration and troubleshooting preferred;
• Familiar to enterprise and bank network structure, experience in supporting existing networks and deploying new networks;
• Strong presentation skills;
• Familiar with Linux administration skills;
• Excellent communication and customer service skills;
• Eligible to work in the EU with no restrictions.
