The Company
Our client is a fast growing multi-sector speciality distributor of raw materials to the UK Manufacturing industry.
The role
We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to look after the UK market, responsible of growing and developing relationships with new and existing clients.
In this role, you will be generating revenue by growing your portfolio of existing accounts and engaging with new clients. You will be using your knowledge and passion for the food & raw ingredients industry in order to generate new leads, follow up with client visits, creating proposals and closing deals. Your target audience will be the manufacturers and your product are mainly food ingredients, including flavours and nutritional supplements.
Required skills/experience
– Minimum of 3/4 years of B2B sales, ideally Field Sales or similar.
– Experience in the Food / Ingredients / FMCG industries is a must.
– A commercial mindset and the ability to develop and grow accounts.
– Fantastic communication and presentation skills.
– Ability to work independently.
– Strategic and analytical thinker with great attention to detail.
– Creative, and problem-solving abilities.
– Dynamic attitude, enthusiastic, hard-worker and proactive.
