Japanese Speaking HR Coordinator
Our client one of the largest trading companies in the world. They provide integrated business services to partners all over the world in order to enhance value across their entire supply chain. This is achieved by applying expert knowledge, experience and core skills in market development, finance, logistics, investment and information to solve specific business problems across a broad range of commodities and services.
The role:
*Areas covered are immigration, personal income tax and other works related for expatriates’ transfer, salary, and fringe benefits.
*Manage immigration compliance of the expatriate population of the company and the group companies in the UK.
*Manage personal income tax reporting and returns for expatriate population of the company in Europe and the group companies in the UK.
*Update the process and procedure according to the changes of immigration and tax rules, and Mitsui policies.
*Oversee salary & benefit payments for the expatriates of the company in Europe and the group companies in the UK and EMEA region.
*Developing and Maintaining expat employees personnel files and databases.
*Deal with the complex cases of immigration, personal income tax, salary/benefit payment, and other general issues for the expatriates.
*Manage International Mobility Programme.
*Manage and oversee the team under supervision of GM.
*Other ad-hoc tasks as may be requested in order to meet the operational needs of the business.
Working with:
* Payroll Officers of Human Resources, Accounts Department, Outsourcing Company for salary/benefit/income tax payment.
*Members of staff at all level of the Global HQ, the European HQ, and the group companies.
*External consultants, advisor and service providers of immigration and personal income tax matters.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills / Knowledge / Experience:
*Proven working experience of delivering excellent expatriate service
*In-depth knowledge of current income tax and immigration rules and procedure.
*Excellent verbal and written language/communication skills both in English and Japanese.
*Good IT skills, including using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
*Previous experience/education background in HR
*Ability to solve problems within a strict timeframe.
*People oriented, and results driven.
Education:
*Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
