The Company
British law firm based in Central London. The firm is a specialist in commercial and residential property deals in the UK. You will working alongside the Senior Partner on current ongoing cases and be tasked with developing great working relationships based on trust with Chinese developers, major UK property agents and private clients. There are excellent career opportunities for the right person.
Duties
You will be working with an existing clientele and on current and new cases:
- Supporting the senior partner on existing ongoing cases
- Provide advice on UK property law (buying/selling/renting/probate)
- Drafting tenancy agreements , letters and contracts
- Researching legal status of property and Deeds
- Collate all relevant court papers
- Instructing barristers or specialist advocates
- Helping negotiate settlements where there is an issue
- Calculating claims for damages, compensation, maintenance, etc;
- Administrative duties, e.g. completing time sheets so that charges for work can be calculated and billing clients for work done on their behalf
Requirements
- Fluent Mandarin & English
- Law Degree
- Some previous experience as a UK property lawyer
