COMPANY DETAILS
This is a young food import/export business company based in the Hertfordshire in the UK and growing swiftly . They are now looking for a Graduate trainee Shipping Administrator to help manage a busy work load within import/export . You will be working in a small team, be given full training and will eventually be trusted to work very independently.
Almost all work will be done in both English and in Chinese.
THE ROLE
Full training ( mainly on-the-job) will be provided and you will learn all about import/export and shipping logistics admin:
- General office administration
- Liaising with the head office in China, suppliers, insurance companies and shipping companies
- Checking delivery notes
- Prepare all shipping documentation and labels for sending out
- General order processing
- Providing a top flight service to all customers
- Answering emails
- Dealing with telephone enquiries in Chinese and English
- Create shipping information on behalf of the client so that they are aware of delivery times
- Dealing with complaints
- Producing reports in Chinese and English
Requirements
- Fluent Chinese to native standard
- Some previous admin experience gained in an office
- A full visa
- Available to start work asap
