Salary: Total Compensation of circa £52k
Comprised of up to £45000 + additional £7,000 in bonus

The Company
This is an international bank with a large number of small and medium sized companies that use its London branch. The company is friendly, customer orientated and efficient. They are looking for a key member of staff to oversee cash planning, as well as sell new banking products and manage cash inflows and outflows, so that clients can optimizing the use of the funds they have available to help build their businesses. There will also be upselling and cross selling of associated banking services you will be liaising with Germany and Austria on a daily basis
This is a B2B role and requires excellent administrative skills and outstanding customer care abilities as you will have direct contact with banking clients.
The role will be in part a work-from-home position and there are genuine career opportunities for promotion.
The role
- Helping Existing clients: Liaising with existing corporate clients and help to schedule any major payments and enable clients to seize potential opportunities for profitable long-term investment;
- Regularly update customers with any new services or products
- Liaising with existing small and medium sized companies that already use the bank in London
- Communicating with the team in Germany and daily use of fluent German (written and spoken)
- Identifying fraud: you will be expected to really get to know your customers and be able to identify fraud or unusual transactions
- Sanctions: check that payments are not being made to sanctions countries
- Customer services : Managing the overdraft facilities of existing customers
- Reconciliation of incoming/outgoing payments, Direct Debits, standing orders and BACS payments, settlements work etc
- Overseeing all processes generated from all current account business streams
- Helping New clients: Opening new bank accounts, checking compliance related and KYC documentation
- On-boarding of new clients
- Speaking regularly with Anti-money laundering teams, compliance and also the customer care team to ensure new clients meet government requirements
- 10% Project work: You will be working on some interesting ad hoc projects and this will add variety to your job
Requirements:
- Fluent German
- Retail Banking experience essential
- Customer service and payment systems experience would be ideal
