Non-profit global supplier and centralised purchasing office for the buying of food across the hospitality sector. This ranges from purchasing ovens to training courses and you will be involved in most aspects of the supply chain. Your clients are franchise restaurant owners who will purchase from your centralised buying hub where they can make savings..

Languages needed Fluency in German and English

Summary of the role: This is an Operational role focusing on two main areas

1) Providing practical day-to-day logistical and operational support to your clients

2) Providing Training to your clients

Duties

Operational:

• Help to manage the day-to-day delivery of the company’s services , to its key clients
• Liaising with local drinks companies, fresh -produce suppliers and suppliers of food-related equipment
• Introducing clients to new products & services that will help them grow their business
• Stock control: ensuring the correct stock is available for current & future food promotions . Liaising with the company Distribution Centre
• Managing price changes and reflecting those changes on the website
• Manage Critical incidents and “product recalls”
• Eventually attending site visits, food-quality related meetings etc
• Provide a practical help desk style support to your clients and liaise with the Help Desk team at head office
• Budget management and tracking and analysis of performance and client satisfaction

Training & practical support

• Overseeing a junior franchisee manager
• Training business partners (restaurant franchisees) on new products
• Organising management & financial training for new Restaurant partners
• Help to set business targets and establish forecasting
• Monitor sales progress
• Ensure staff absences & holidays are covered

Requirements

• A supply chain/distributor management background
• Fluent German
• Used to dealing with Franchise owners
• Numerate with good excel
• Experienced in conflict resolution
• Food sector background ideally
