Our client is a world leader in e-commerce and online sales. This is an opportunity to work for a truly global business which is paving the way with exceptional innovation and global outreach. They are looking for content editors with localisation experience to translate, and localise, and optimise the content for the Hungarian speaking market. This is an excellent opportunity for a content localisation lead to be involved in this new project, and work with an international team within the London office, and gain great experience in a new environment where you have the support of your peers, and the best techy tools to deliver optimum work.
Services to be performed:
- Own the localisation of UI text and messaging into ensuring a high quality and compliant localised experience. Determine the terminology and linguistic style for the business in these languages.
- Perform localisation tasks and collaborate with external translation vendors to consistently raise bar on localisation quality.
- Handle linguistic QA testing across all business compatible devices on-device and work with QA managers to fix issues. Use Business tools to perform the localisation work.
Required skills:
- Each individual contractor must have extensive experience in text localisation into Hungarian ideally for technical and/or digital products
- Native speaker in Hungarian, and with excellent English skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience in localising products and features and excellent editor skills, especially when it comes to technically complex topics
- Experience with localisation QA testing as well as trailing issues
- Sound knowledge with Microsoft Office applications as well as Content Management Systems and other localisation tools
- Outstanding communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and passion for delivering a great customer experience
