THE ROLE

Home based role involving Business Development/Relationship Management: You will “meet” potential customers over video, generate interest, undertake web-demos present services and get sign-up.

Duties

This is a complex high-value solution-sales environment with circa 70% new business development and circa 30% retention of existing clients

• New Business: Research, identify and develop relationships with c-level decision markers across large UK businesses
• Build a pipeline of contacts and a profile of what client potentially need across different sectors
• Make outbound calls/emails use LinkedIn and other social media, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge/intelligence to develop your pipeline .
• Get referrals
• Undertake web-demos
• Provide detailed quotations and deal with price and terms-of-contract negotiations
• Work to agreed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
• Retention: stay in touch with existing clients retain their business
• Introduce new features and benefits and grow revenues from existing client portfolio
• Check-in that the client is experiencing outstanding customer services and take pre-emptive action where necessary
• Internal & Reporting: Liaise with internal departments including Customer Care, Pre-Sales, Legal and Delivery and other support functions
• Create reports and forecast for head office

Requirements

• You must already be resident in the UK
• A background in technology sales
• Minimum 5 years B2B sales experience
• Consultative or value sales experience
• Degree educated
