German Investor Relations Manager
Role: German Speaking Investor Relations Manager
Hourly rate: £17.00 per hour + Holiday pay
Working hours: Regular office hours (Monday – Friday)
Contract: Temporary for 6 months – with a view to become permanent
Location: Remote – moving to office based when permitted (you must be already resident in the UK to be considered for this role).

Our client is a leading financial publication and conferences organiser working with global institutional investors via exclusive memberships, forums, industry benchmarks, award-winning content, and workflow solutions such as capital placement. They are currently seeking a German speaking Investor Relations Manager to join the Investor Relations team in their London and cover the DACH region.
The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn about financial markets and asset management, be highly efficient and demonstrate strong client-facing and oral communication skills. You will have experience in sales, and business development, and managing key relationships.
Reporting into the Head of Investor Relations for EMEA, the Investor Relations manager will be responsible for building and managing relationships with institutional investors and recruit them to attend private conferences in different Europe locations.
Responsibilities
- Building new and maintaining existing relationships with key investment decision makers in the DACH markets.
- Conduct research to identify new allocators to target for events.
- Maintaining regular communication with investors through face-to-face meetings, phone calls and email.
- Demonstrate Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Providing regular internal updates on the investor acquisition process for events.
- Controlling the administrative process via the company’s CRM (Salesforce).
- Maintaining current relationships with investors through communication of in-house materials and services.
- Organising call and meeting schedules with investors and participating in these.
- Drafting and collecting feedback from investor calls and meetings in order to help Program Directors prepare summit agendas.
Requirements
- Fluency in one in German to native standard
- Previous experience using Salesforce (Highly desired)
- Knowledge or experience of working with the DACH markets (Essential)
- Knowledge on financial investment, pension funds (desired)
- Previous experience working on tradeshows, events, conferences, exhibitions, global summits/seminars and building relationships with delegates (Highly desirable)
- Strong experience in sales, business development, or audience development with a demonstrable ability to develop business relationship and deliver results
- Able to organise workload and work independently
- Target driven with ability to appreciate and meet deadlines
- Educated to university degree level or above
