The company has over 160 restaurants globally and has accredited Michelin stars. This company serves the very finest in Asian food. It is now expanding rapidly in a well-timed, and strategic, post-pandemic move, and is looking for an experienced HR Generalist with a hospitality background. Your insights and understanding of the staffing & retention demands that are unique to this sector, will help to drive their UK growth.
DUTIES: 1) Recruit & Retain
- Design the recruitment system to identify and attract the best staff
- Creating and checking all current and new detailed job description
- Create the best-in-class salary-and -reward system
- Devise an effective performance appraisal system
- Put in place all legal processes related to grievance management, performance management and disciplinary
- Conducting new-joiner inductions. Managing exit interviews
- Dealing with SSP and SMP and Paternity leave etc
2) Reporting
- Liaising with the management team in order to work out fresh recruitment strategies
- Reporting on recruitment forecasts, time-frames, seasonal staffing issues
- Understand the competition and undertaking salary surveys
3) Manage an HR budget
- Liaising with recruitment agencies, job boards and finding new sources of talent
- Communicating with benefits providers and always review their services
- Review staff Recognition Programmes & monitor holiday allocation
4) Learning + Development
- Identifying and addressing staff skills shortages
- Develop exciting training and development strategies and courses with L+D consultancies
5) Undertake succession planning
- Ensuing this company becomes the “employer of choice” in its sector
- Liaising with a legal team (external providers) as well as Directors
REQUIREMENTS
- HR Management & Recruitment experience in hospitality (essential)
- In-depth knowledge of UK Employment law and HR best practices
- Mandarin speaking (Preferred but not essential )
