Salary : Total Compensation of £67000
(comprised of a base of £54,000 plus 10% bonus + car allowance of £7,750)
Location: Buckinghamshire (WFH currently)

The Company
This is a new and exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager to deliver technical innovation within the food/FMCG sector.
This company is going through a massive digital transformation at the moment and you will be part of selecting new technology suppliers , streamlining of all new supplier processes and innovative changes that will help drive efficiencies and cost savings for retail customers across the FMCG areas

The role
1) selecting tech suppliers 2) integrating the tech across the business 3) manage change & look after your team
Select Tech Suppliers: Researching and selecting the best-in-class of new retail technologies (for loyalty programmes, EPOS, EFTPOS and retail back-of-house), solutions and practices
- Supplier relationship management
- Defining the project implementation process and systems development lifecycle
- Creating reports and action points. Attend steering committees and internal status-meetings
- Develop business cases for the adoption and implementation of new technology
- Budget oversight
- Project Integration:
- Project manage and coordinate IT project delivery
- Ensures completion of all testing and UAT approvals. Quality assurance oversight.
- Ensure that the project is hitting pre-agreed development milestones
- Devise testing plans and training plans
- Managing Change & look after your team
- Lead and encourage a cross functional team to get their ” buy in”
- Mentor and coach more junior colleagues
- Ensuring software handovers are done in a timely way
Qualifications:
- Degree educated
- Previous IT project Management experience within retail, FMCG
- Team Management skills
