Job title: German Operations Manager

Start: Immediate

Contract: 5 months temp

Location: Remote (You should be based in the UK with a right to work)

Rate: £400 per day

We are looking for candidates who have the drive, passion, and determination to support our client during its peak period to ensure operations are delivered.

The ideal candidate will a background in transportation and 3PL warehousing management. He/she should have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment. You will need to deliver daily operational tasks, analysing internal reports to develop your execution plans and then executing your plan.

This job will require exceptional communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for account management of 3P warehouse operations
• Coordinate transportation schedules between Fulfilment centres and 3PL providers
• Consolidation of transportation schedules and generate centralised reporting
• Operations reporting and data compliance check
• Stakeholder management, internal and external
• Manages the quality of the transportation deliveries
• Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in transportation operations
• Must be able to quickly understand the business impact of the trends and make decisions that make sense based on available data
• Must be able to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered
• Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed

Required skills

• 3+ years Operational Transportation or Supply Chain experience, preferably in a similar role, within a high-volume logistics, manufacturing, or engineering environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Excellent customer service skills and commercial understanding
• Ability to drive complex analysis, and making data driven decisions.
• Data manipulation and analytics (excel)

• SQL, PowerBI experience
