Contract type: 9 month contract. Potentially permanent

Salary : up to £25,000 + Commissions

Location: WFH and then hybrid role ( 3 days from home/2 days office based)

The role

Full training will be provided in this role for a top notch German speaking graduate who is looking to get into the publishing sector. This is a sales position and you will be looking after, and nurturing, the academic representatives of various Universities who are looking to advertise their ” open vacancies” within their department , or who are seeking to publish a piece of editorial scientific research work .

Duties

• “Warm” courtesy calling: Speaking to University professors to introduce yourself and to promote advertising in academic publications
• send out emails to stay in touch
• Provide price quotations and send out information on various sponsorship packages
  Take a consultative approach and really discuss in detail the best way to meet their departments need

Provide administrative support and help teaching staff upload their job vacancies onto the platform

• Constantly communicate with the Professor and check on the result of his/her advert or the editorial content
• Advise on additional services such as podcasts or on signing up for editorially led webcasts

Requirements

• Fluent German
• Degree educated
• Some experience that shows you are happy making outbound cold/warm courtesy calls
