Our client is a global leader in financial events, conferences, and publications. They are looking for a hard-working candidate with strong organisational skills and an interest in financial services to join its Memberships division as a Client Relations & Operations Manager. The position involves working closely with the programming director, audience development team, sales, marketing, tech developers and logistics to manage and organise various membership round-tables and sponsored conferences throughout Europe.
Key responsibilities
- Liaising with sales and marketing executives at asset management member firms to obtain all registrations and sponsor profile materials for upcoming events
- Creating and printing all event materials to meet the pre-event shipping deadline
- Maintaining the event App both pre-conference and during the event by uploading all bios and photos, the meeting agenda, presentations, sponsor profiles, evaluations, and editing and formatting photos and bios
- Booking speaker travel and arranging pre-event conference calls with speakers and the programming director
- Creating seating plans and ensuring sure they run smoothly onsite at the event
- Managing the registration desk and all event admin onsite
- Post-conference: sending post-event follow ups and collating evaluation results
- Client servicing: processing membership contracts, billing and invoicing, maintaining membership data
- Sole management of all email campaigns to current members and day to day ad-hoc mailings
- Managing and updating the company website, marketing brochures and materials to ensure these are always up to date with the latest event and member information
- Processing event and business invoices through the company’s payment system
