You will be joining a company that is at the cutting edge of new developments within fintech. This sector is currently in fast-growth-mode and is changing the way money is transferred globally. The company is aggressively expanding its business in global remittance. Due to the rapid expansion, they are now looking to take on an in-house HR on board, this is a standalone position.

Position Overview
The perfect candidate for this role will be a generalist who is comfortable working independently with entrepreneurial spirit. You will help build up a local team consisting of 10-20 employees in functions of finance, compliance, marketing, and operation in a short period and grow the team along with the business in the long run. You will be responsible of owning all recruitment, payroll processing, compensation strategies, and benefits administration of the London office. You are expected to take initiatives to constantly improve all HR related matters. Note that you will also be expected to function as an administrative assistant and be responsible for ensuring that all of the administrative activities are efficiently addressed, including travel arrangements, supply and equipment purchasing, file management, expenses management and related activities.
Job Responsibility
HR
- Own and manage HR processes to deliver operational excellence. Including payroll, contracts, reports, benefits, and other key HR operations.
- First point of contact for employee queries, advice, guidance and support to staff in relations to HR.
- Own employee lifecycle from hiring, onboarding, changes, probation, performance, offboarding.
- Ensuring accurate information is submitted to payroll monthly and employee records and data are well maintained and reported
- Ensure the smooth delivery of HR related administrative tasks
- Work cross-functionally to ensure the delivery of wider HR and business projects
- Ensure the legal and statutory compliance of HR policies and procedures
Operations
- Support on all finance processes, expenses, admin
- Own immigration processes, manage compliance of international transfer
- Support and coordinate on legal request from time to time
- Other office management tasks when staff return to office
- Other ad-hoc project
Job Requirement
- Strong recruiting skill
- 1-3 years of in house HR experience
- Work independently with low level of supervision
- Strong commercial sense
- Willing to learn
- Agile approach
- End to end employee lifecycle experience
- CIPD desirable
- Mandarin skills desirable but not required
