Our client is an international trading finance bank, and they are looking for an experienced PA who is highly organised, proactive and loves being the go-to person to support the Managing Director in both corporate and private duties.
The right candidate should be very well presented, possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written, have strong attention to detail and be able to write and speak fluent in Farsi.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for planning the Managing Director’s diary including arranging trips, itineraries, all transport, and accommodation. (In future, as current travel is minimal)
- Act as “gate keeper” to MD.
- Take minutes at all meetings attended by MD, prepare, and distribute as directed; follow up action points and ensure MD kept up to date with status.
- Ensure MD is kept up to date with high level meetings in UK, including visits from overseas dignitaries, arranging attendance as appropriate.
- Ensure all communications and filing in relation to correspondence and business activities of the MD are managed efficiently.
- Responsible for liaising with the embassy and local Banks in London as required.
- Arranging all hotels, cars, meetings, and dinners for any visiting senior staff members.
- Relationship-building at all levels across the business.
- Act as confidante to MD and family in organising personal appointments, payments of bills, tax affairs.
- Undertake personal correspondence on behalf of the MD as and when required.
- Managing business and personal expenses including, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assisting with MD’s family and private household e.g: overseeing contractors and suppliers
Requirements
- Fluent in Farsi to native level (Written and spoken).
- 2-3 years’ experience delivering PA support at director level within a corporate environment. Candidates with office management background will also be considered.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and IT literate.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Discretion and trustworthiness, dealing with confidential information
- Extremely organised and can prioritise, think on their feet, and use their initiative.
- Approachable and strong communicator.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
