About The Company

Our client is a leading fintech company that leverages technology and innovation in their product development and service offering of payment solutions and financial services, including but not limited to cross-border merchant acquiring, e-commerce marketplace payout and supply-chain financing.

With its rapid growth and big plans for Asia Pacific, the company is looking to hire a Compliance Officer to be based in London.

The Compliance Officer (“CO”) will provide professional support and has overall management responsibility and oversight on all compliance and regulatory matters. Key duties of the CO include:

• Primary contact to requests by FCA and/or other relevant authorities;
• Ensuring company complies with requirements of relevant laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and bylaws;
• Working hand in hand with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with all relevant decision makers and stakeholders in order to keep all parties informed of regulatory changes;
• Creating and implementing organizational policies, standards, and procedures, as well as adequate risk controls, to comply with applicable regulations;
• Organizing regular training sessions for employees in order to efficiently communicate key regulatory changes and updates.

Your profile

• Eight plus years of relevant experience is preferred;
• Familiar with payments or fintech industry and regulations;
• Regulatory engagement and licensing experience, as well as fundamental knowledge of other requirements such as technology risk management, AML&CFT, risk and governance, etc.
