Pay rate: £14.45 per hour
We are working with a global online retailer, who are looking to recruit administrative support staff to work in their logistics distribution centres in the UK (Different locations). The admin support executive will support the distribution centre managers and HR staff with a range of tasks related to the on-boarding/off-boarding of staff, and support with updating information such feedback, right to work documents, background checks to the system.
The right candidate will have a strong administrative background, have excellent communication skills, and high attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
- Conversion Clinics – putting in office hours with warehouse staff to talk all things related to conversions.
- Right to work checking and handling any issues with Background Checks – check and scan staff documents and ensure correct documents are raised in a timely manner
- Working with warehouse staff and the Salesforce team to resolve profile errors in Salesforce.
- Review if applications have been successfully submitted and to ensure associates are applying to the correct requisitions
- Conducting 1:1’s with warehouse staff to discover feedback on the conversion process, if they are interested to apply, blockers preventing application
- Engaging with staff around opportunities to convert. Conducting site walks and engaging with associates to discuss if they are aware of opportunities.
- Ensure managers are conducting briefs with associates and these are updated. Displaying correct posters and ensuring these are displayed around sites
- Cleansing regional sheets – Ensuring correct information is provided into the regional excel sheets for each associate (this includes shift pattern, manager information, right to work)
- The Admin Support will raise awareness of step-up opportunities across distribution centres and ensure associates are guided on the application process.
- Support with interview coordination will be part of roles and responsibilities.
- Scheduling check in opportunities for all step ups to ensure adequate training, coaching and guidance is being provided by leadership on site.
- Supporting the distribution centre managers and line managers with the step-down process and ensuring appropriate lessons learnt feedback is captured.
