Job Title: Biomedical Scientist/Lab Technician
Pay Rate: 12-15pph (PAYE) ( Equivalent to £31,200 per annum )
Duration: 9 months
Location: Manchester
Shift pattern: Monday to Sunday (5 days a week) regular hours, afternoon, or evenings.

Duties
- You will work out diagnostic testing lines
- Undertake lab testing
- Liaise with medical centres
- conduct instrument and procedural calibrations
- Liaise with senior medical staff
- Optimise PCR testing for staff
- Document, identify defective test results
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Lab technician or qualified Biomedical Scientist
- Experience with virology or clinical microbiology diagnostics
- Practical experience utilising qPCR as a diagnostic technique
- Valid Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
