German Copywriter

Background required: Journalism or agency

Sector : Marketing and storytelling branding in food/drink and ecommerce

Location: 100% remote

Contract type: 1 month (Full time) with a possibility to extend or lead to permanent

Salary : Up to £400 per day

Company You will be joining a well known creative agency that designs some of the most exciting branding campaigns in the world. You will work specifically with one well known client to weave stories that produce engaging and fresh content for various campaigns. The role is highly creative and fast moving and you will have the chance to become a storyteller across various media in order to deliver your messages. This includes script writing, advertising and even videos! The client products are easy to get excited about (who doesn’t love retail,food and drink!) which helps make the job more interesting. The role is 100% remote, and the client is happy to rely on your creativity and innovation to write new captivating stories around their brand. You will be able to work autonomously and will also be some client contact in the role to ensure that you are connected with the clients requirements, thereby getting the best of both worlds.

ROLE : You will work alongside the Content Team Leader, Account Director ,Designers and Data Strategist to produce compelling stories that support brands

• Apply your understanding of trends in retail and hospitality to produce interesting and fun copy in German
• Undertake research to stay updated on the latest trends
• Work across a portfolio of brands each with their unique voice
• Create and write digital commerce copy content as well as scripts that will excite and engage consumers
• Adapt the feel and tone of articles to various consumer demographics, products and geographies
• Write copy with SEO in mind that encourages ” sharing”
• Liaise directly with clients to get briefings
• Understand why clients are excited about their products and translate their passion into a story
• Work on projects such as videos, key visuals and across social media
• Write short and long form articles
• Repurpose existing content for different uses

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent German
• Experience as a Copywriter
• A portfolio of work
