Salary: £30,000 + company benefits

The role
You will be joining a highly effective team of multilingual credit controllers & will specialise in the recovery of monies from a DACH client audience. Your aim is to 1) retain client goodwill , whilst 2) simultaneously recover bad debts. This is a skilful balancing act and involves the ability to work in a consultative manner with clients, help them achieve payments by creating payment plans that will ensure that goodwill is not lost .
Duties
- Working with a portfolio of clients based in Germany you will :
- Politely and diplomatically contact companies on the phone and via email, where there is outstanding debt
- Devise payment plans
- Send out client statements and then follow up
- Create rapport with companies in order to retain goodwill, whilst recovering money
- Use of German on a daily basis
- Follow a step-by-step process that makes debt recovery more certain
- Liaise with legal team where necessary
Requirements
- Fluent German
- Experience in credit control or accounting with an element of credit control
- Happy to be 100% office based
