Salary : to £30k + Bonus ( average of additional £6k)

Your job: This is a B2B sales role in which you will promote state-of-the-art online training to an academic “target audience” including universities, research institutes , and also governments bodies. As a result, the sales style is consultative, democratic and more of an exchange of information in which you will have educated conversations with a sophisticated audience.
The role A mix of 3 key activities: 1) responding to inbound enquiries 2) managing an existing portfolio of client relationships 3) Lead generation (including cold calling). Most academics are already aware of this company but not aware of their online training .
Duties
- Respond to inbound enquiries
- Respond quickly and efficiently to inbound enquiries
- Act as an information ” hub” for potential clients
- Send out information , pricing and set up demos
- Provide references and testimonials
- Give a genuinely consultative service to ensure that potential clients are engaged and feel that they are getting value for money
- Renewals and Portfolio Management
- Inform clients of renewals deadlines and promotional offers
- Provide advice on relevant training courses
- Put together quotations and negotiate new rates
- You will be working to set call-targets
- Lead Generation
- Use linkedin, and websites to navigate complex organisations such as Universities and government bodies
- Locate and approach the key decision makers (via phone or email)
- Engage with them and provide them with information related to online training
- Work across the DACH territory
- Send out information; follow up
- Courtesy call and stay in gentle and polite touch with your academic audience
Requirements
- Fluent German
- Previous B2B sales experience (including telesales)
- Degree educated
- An interest in all things science-orientated ( helpful)
