HOURLY RATE: £12.30 per hour (equivalent to £24,000 per annum)

Our client is a privately owned gift company creating innovative and exciting products and accessories for all ages that are loved around the world. They have a growing international customer base of independent retailers stocking their products, which sits alongside their well-established UK business. They work with all customers in exactly the same way; as personably and as efficiently, with an approach reflecting the wonderful products and accessories they offer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
They are looking for someone to join their International Sales team to support wholesale customers in a sales administrator capacity.
- Answering all incoming phone calls as part of the general sales team, including from UK and international customers, and directing calls to other team members as needed
- Calling customers regarding orders and back orders
- Emailing customers regarding any order queries
- Taking orders over the phone and providing product information
- Inputting and updating orders on the system, checking stock availability
- Answering customer queries and complaints, passing them on where necessary
- Liaising with the Logistics Team to ensure orders are packed/delivered correctly and on time
- Sending parcels, catalogues, and product samples via courier and post
- Any other administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the office.
SKILLS:
- Fluency in English with excellent communication
- Fluency in additional EU languages highly desirable bot not essential
- Understanding and some experience of working in a sales or customer service environment
- Friendly and confident telephone manner, with strong and clear communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Personable and approachable personality
- Organised with good time management
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel) are essential
- SAP experience is preferred, although not essential.
