£25,000 basic – £30,000 basic depending on experience
£25,000+ OTE (uncapped)

Location: Central London (A mix of office and remote working)
Our client is a B2B media company which organise conferences, and high profile round table events, predominantly within cyber security and internet tech risk .They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their conferencing sponsorship team. This is a rare opportunity to join an experienced and highly skilled team.
You will work in a fast-paced environment so this role is best suited to a quick learner who can meet deadlines under pressure. You will also need to be highly driven to meet and exceed sales expectations, have excellent communication and presentation skills. You will need to be equally able to work independently as well as part of a team. And will need to have the ability to build effective working relationships with local and international clients in the cyber security tech sector.
Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent relationships with existing clients, and generate new sponsor partnerships
- Take a proactive part in client meetings, and tailor sponsorship packages to suit their needs
- Take part in package price negotiations
- Meeting sales targets and growing client base
- Representing sponsors during event preparations
- Attending in-person and virtual events on the day
- Update sales database CRM
- Keep up to date with market trends, and industry sector changes
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet client expectations
Requirements
- Previous sales experience with a proven track record of consistently achieving targets (Preferably in events, but other industry sectors will be considered too)
- Experience managing existing business as well as ability to generate new business using multiple research and lead generation tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills, and experience in conducting client meetings virtually and face to face
- Education to a degree level or equivalent
- Fluency in English to a high standard (both written and spoken), additional languages advantageous but not essential
- Interest in the field of Cyber Security is highly desirable
