Salary : To Eu70,000 + fixed 10% bonus (Total comp of Eu 77,000 per annum)
Company : You will be working for a fast growth company that provides specialist technical products to industries as diverse as Automotive and cosmetics. The company is family owned since 1940 and has a global footprint supplying customers with high end engineering-related product. The company has a very collaborative feel and is planning on doubling in size over the next 5 years. What they sell, businesses actually need and they have a reputation that means the products ” sell themselves”. There will be NO cold-calling in this role .
The role
You will have three months intensive training with 1 month in France (classroom and a buddy system) and 1 month based in the USA ( working alongside the CEO) , and 1 month
practical coaching. The company has thousands of products which are almost all handmade to offer a solution to a manufacturing or engineering problem experienced by a client, so gaining
an understanding of what this company invents, then designs and produces , and how the products solve industry problems, is essential
Duties
The role is mainly new business development and will include the following three elements 1) responding to inbound enquiries, 2) developing relationships with prospects from a lists of potential clients that have been provided by the Marketing team,3) attendance at industry events and networking events
- Manage all activities associated with growing and maintaining business within EMEA
- Connecting with companies where they have expressed an interest in a product or where they are keen to discuss a problem that requires a solution
- Sending across company information and subsequent follow-up courtesy calling and ” warm calling”
- Attending large scale industry events ( remotely of face to face)
- Explaining technical products to clients face to face. Attending Annual Business Reviews for existing customers
- Perform quarterly sales analysis, and annual forecasting of existing customers
- Attending networking and trade events
- Asking for referrals
- Execute all phases of the Order Creation process including initiating engineering reviews,
- Producing detailed tenders
- Negotiating prices , quantities and timescales
- Managing and growing existing relationships ( 10%)
- Develop a deep understanding clients manufacturing problems and finding the best ,most cost effective solutions
- Managing client delivery expectations
Requirements
- Fluent French
- Fluent English ( Spanish would be an advantage)
- Engineering background would be helpful but is not essential
- Degree
- You must be based within commuting distance to Reims in France
