Salary Euros 83,380 ( comprised of base of Euro 67925, car allowance of 8664 + 10% fixed bonus)

The company : A non profit organisation specialising in food
Purpose: Working with a portfolio of direct -to-store distributors : The Distribution Manager is responsible for the 1) procurement and 2) management of distribution services & ensuring that those distribution services are provided in accordance with each distributors contractual obligations
Additionally, the Distribution Manager will work with their distributors to 3) improve operational efficiencies whilst 4) driving down costs
DUTIES
- Managing distributor performance, stock availability and Goods Accounts ( set KPI’s)
- Ensure monthly distributor reviews are carried out and action points are completed on time.
- Support distributors in improving operational efficiencies and service
- Reducing costs and/or minimising cost increases
- Suggest distribution improvements
- Undertake re-tenders and general market research
- Work in conjunction with the purchasing teams, suppliers and the supply chain team to identify projects which will improve the capability of direct-to-store deliveries
- Work on global distribution projects
- Ensure project implementation (on time and within budget)
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent English and German
- Extensive Supply chain / distribution experience / expertise
- Strong analytical skills; numerate with the ability to decipher complex information
