Learning & Development Manager, Cosmetics

The primary purpose of this role is to lead the implementation of an innovative, global learning and development service to all areas of the business; focussing on digital innovation and promoting an internal culture of continuous professional development.
Main duties are:
· Design, implement and lead in the delivery of all head office new starter inductions
· Design and deliver a leading performance strategy in conjunction with other key stakeholders in the HR Team
· Design department and level specific induction processes to ensure the onboarding process is consistent across the business; all new starters will have a clear understanding of their role and are engaged with the company values
· Make recommendations on how to reduce labour turnover rates as appropriate
· Work closely with Heads of Department and Department Directors to conduct ongoing ‘training needs analysis’ across all areas of the business; identifying appropriate solutions to improve individual and business performance
· Produce and roll out innovative course content; building robust feedback and evaluation mechanisms to summarise learning outcomes
· Conduct regular people reviews with key stakeholders, identifying concerns and ensuring clear objectives are put in place to drive improvement
· Ensure all training tools, templates and resources are innovative; working with the Education Content team to continually review and amend them
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
· Proven experience in building and implementing a learning and development plan to deliver growth
- Minimum in 5 years experience in L&D training function including performance management
- Established project management skills
- Innovative approach to training methodology
· Proven experience in partnering with external training providers on senior leadership training
· Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
