Contract : Permanent role . Fully office based for the first 6 months. Thereafter hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 WFH

Salary: to £25,000 (for graduate ) -£35,000 ( for previous experience) + 10% of sales commission structure and additional bonus

The Company Environmental & Carbon Reduction Environmental specialist consultancy

The aim of this company is to proactively encourage businesses to be more ” green” . Its not just the moral imperative that make this such a good job , it’s the realisation that society has had that it really is up to the business community to lead-the-charge in reducing emissions . Your role will be a ” business introducer” in which you will open conversations with companies that are already exploring ways of reducing their carbon footprint.

This role will only suit someone who is committed to helping fight global warming and it will use your communication skills to engage with businesses and explain to them what the practical steps are that will contribute to reducing their carbon footprint

DUTIES : This a client facing B2B role in which you will approach and engage with businesses that are interested in putting in place green policies .

There will be full classroom based training and on-the-job mentoring . As you gain in experience and knowledge there are genuine career opportunities within the company, and within the sustainability sector

Introducing the service:

• Research businesses
• Locate and approach the relevant contact ( the CFO or MD)
• Send introductory email or courtesy call
• Explain the benefits and importance of operating a ” greener” business
• Offer advice and help . This is a consultative role
• Provide ongoing and updated information on new environmental initiatives
• Build our network and stay engaged
• Connect the business with a senior account manager who will support them
• Set up meetings to explain practical steps they need to take (and the costs involved) in driving down carbon emmisions
• Attend networking events, meetings at Chambers of Commerce and Embassies
• Providing price quotations

REQUIREMENTS

• Passionate about the environment
• Some outbound calling and/or lead generation experience
• Fluent English
• Degree educated
