Location: Doha, Qatar
Start: Immediate
Salary: £80,000 – £100,000 (Depending on experience)
Contract: 12 months Fixed Term (with possibility to move permanent)
Note regarding work location:
Our client is ideally looking for a candidate to relocate to Doha Qatar and work from there, but if you are based in the UK and prefer to work on a freelance arrangement, and you are happy to travel to Qatar occasionally, this would considered too.
Job description
Our client is one of the world’s largest advertising agencies. They are looking for a highly skilled Head of Content with experience in content production
and team management, to oversee all digital marketing content initiatives across multiple
platforms and formats and work within their client’s business a well-known brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving leads, engagement, and positive brand affinity amongst existing and new
- customer bases through best-in-class content strategy and development.
- Leading the development of premium content by supervising all aspects of editorial
- and content publishing, including copy, design and asset management across social,
- web and eCRM.
- Ensuring brand tone, style and quality are consistent across all digital channels
- Continued short- and long-term content and localisation/translation strategy
- development that aligns with current and future traditional marketing initiatives.
- Content calendar development.
- Use of data and analytics analysis and reporting to consistently improve on digital
- Reviewing daily trends and market data to feed back into content plan.
- Copywriting and editing capabilities.
- Develop best practice processes and workflow for documentation and content
- creation and distribution.
- Provide leadership, direction and management to staff in the department, including
- mentorship, performance and all other HR aspects.
Key requirements
- 8 years or more experience in content production and team management
- Fluency in English to a high standard (ideally native standard)
- Be confident, resilient, and highly creative.
- Have significant experience in creating content across multiple digital platforms and
- Have substantial expertise in formulating and communicating global digital
- marketing strategies across multiple languages and regions.
- Have team management experience.
- Be flexible and able to pivot quickly as trends and strategies change in the social
