Working hours: 1.00 pm – 5.30 pm (Monday to Friday)
Our client is a global leader in financial events, conferences, and publications. Their New York office is looking for a candidate to support their team on a remote basis. They are looking for a hard-working candidate with strong organisational skills and an interest in financial services to join its Memberships division as a Client Relations & Operations Manager. The position involves working closely with the programming director, audience development team, sales, marketing, tech developers and logistics to manage and organise various membership roundtables and sponsored conferences throughout Europe.
Key responsibilities
- Liaising with sales and marketing executives at asset management member firms to obtain all registrations and sponsor profile materials for upcoming events
- Creating and printing all event materials to meet the pre-event shipping deadline
- Maintaining the event App both pre-conference and during the event by uploading all bios and photos, the meeting agenda, presentations, sponsor profiles, evaluations, and editing and formatting photos and bios
- Booking speaker travel and arranging pre-event conference calls with speakers and the programming director
- Creating seating plans and ensuring sure they run smoothly onsite at the event
- Managing the registration desk and all event admin onsite
- Post-conference: sending post-event follow ups and collating evaluation results
- Client servicing: processing membership contracts, billing and invoicing, maintaining membership data
- Sole management of all email campaigns to current members and day to day ad-hoc mailings
- Managing and updating the company website, marketing brochures and materials to ensure these are always up to date with the latest event and member information
- Processing event and business invoices through the company’s payment system
Key skills

- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (English to high standard)
- Ability to multitask and manage own workload
- NetSuite experience (highly desirable)
- Experience processing invoices and expenses
- Ability to work under pressure and to deliver against agreed deadlines
- Reliability and ability to keep information confidential
- Salesforce experience – including (desirable)
- Events qualification and coordination experience (desirable)
