IT Support Manager

Education, especially language teaching, has truly embraced the use of Technology! Our client is a primary exponent of using Tech to promote and teach languages throughout the UK.
As their new IT and Product Support Manager, you will have a broad overview of the client’s IT operations and ensure that their online learning programmes provide the best possible experience for their learners. This role will work with all stakeholders, including school users, product developers, teachers and their academic team, to design and implement improvements to our platforms and make sure that our systems are running smoothly.
Main points:
* Acting as the link point between our users (e.g. schools individual, learners and teachers) and our product developers based around the world
* Making sure that all IT systems are functioning correctly for all internal and external stakeholders
* Manage relationships with external IT suppliers and developers, including main offshore product developers in India
* Collecting and synthesising user feedback to oversee programme and product improvements
* Working with the Head of Operations to understand areas of platforms that need improving
Required skills/experience:
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
* A highly proficient user of IT systems and software, including Microsoft Suite, Jira/Confluence, Word Press and Hubspot
* A passion for e-learning and a strong understanding of learner platforms and how they work
