Team : Supply Chain within Import/Export and Logistics

Location: Hemel Hempstead ( Office based role ideally)

Salary : to £65,000 + benefits

Languages Needed: fluent Mandarin Chinese and English

This is an exciting role and a key appointment for the Supply Chain team as the business is expanding strongly into the EU and also across the USA. Summary of the role: you will play a vital role in setting up the UK airfreight operation function as they scale into the UK and Europe. You must have some experience of setting up processes from scratch. This is a fabulous opportunity to stamp your expertise and knowledge onto a role

DUTIES: This is a Supplier management role

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT

• Oversee and monitoring all airfreight supplier performance against agreed monthly KPI
• Dealing with supplier costing queries (Airline CASS queries),
• Assist with finance queries from suppliers
• Ensure internal Aviation Security Programme procedures are up to date and processes are followed.
• Develop positive supplier relationships

IMPORT/EXPORT DOCUMENTATION

• Processing Import / Export cargo documentation and jobs in the system

REQUIREMENTS

• Customs compliance for Airfreight Import and Export
• Fluent Mandarin
• Dangerous cargo experience in Airfreight
• 3 years + within the Freight forwarding industry
