Senior Conference Producer
Role: Conference Producer
Contract: Temporary (ongoing assignment with prospect of converting to permanent)
Start: ASAP
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Canary Wharf London – Office based role with 4 days in the office 1 day from home
Our client is a data/intelligence provider, which provides quality data through events, surveys, and special reports to clients and consultants in the financial services sector. They host UK and US based events, conferences, and round table events. They are looking for a conference producer to support their team with upcoming events. They are looking for a highly driven and organised individual with strong background speaker acquisition, agenda setting, content production and overall project management.
Key responsibilities
- Project management to ensure that conference timelines are met
- Keeping to best practice production timelines and KPIs
- Market research: virtual and face-to-face and desk-based research
- Copywriting skills across digital and print channels
- Proof reading & excellent attention to detail
- Speaker research, acquisition, and management
- Client facing, personable and professional
- Managing conference systems/IT – to upload event content and speaker biographies and photos online
- Running events and on-site speaker liaison
- Build relationships and connections with senior professionals
Requirements
Essential Experience:
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent
- Ideally with 3 or more years experience in conference production.
- Ability to write technical agendas for senior audience
- Excellent organisational and project leadership
- Skilled in building relationships at all levels
- Proficient with MS Excel and MS Outlook
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English ideally to native standard)
- High attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Can do attitude, and ability to work using own initiative
- Fluency in English to a high standard
Desirable experience:
- An Events background in financial services, Fintech, Tech, Legal or Compliance.
