Mandarin Speaking Surveyor

My client is looking for a SURVEYOR who speaks fluent Mandarin who is able to cost-out and produce a compelling business plan for new construction projects across the London area. You will need to be able to speak and write in Mandarin in order to liaise with clients and the head office who will give you the ” greenlight ” on various projects

TITLE : MANDARIN : Surveyor ( real estate/Property)

Salary : £60,000-£80,000 depends on experience

The role : This role has 4 main parts: 1) client liaising 2) cost control of each project 3) supplier management 4) reporting in Chinese

LIAISE WITH CLIENTS

• Working on a portfolio of projects across several construction projects
• Advise on the cost of construction projects
• Advise on the number of staff required for each project
• Preparation of cost plans and cash flows
• Advise of project timelines
• Monitor the project progress

COST THE PROJECT :

• Responsible for the whole process of project dynamic cost management, pre-settlement management across multiple projects
• Produce cash flows
• Create detailed quotations
• Pull together costings on sustainably source materials

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT : Negotiate with suppliers

• Review cost according to the design and drawings and suggest improvements or where savings can be made
• Get quotations from suppliers ( materials/equipment etc)
• Negotiate with suppliers
• Check the contracts and review payment terms

CHINESE REPORTING : Produce status reports per project in Chinese and English

REQUIREMENTS

• Uk work experience
• Degree educated
• cost management experience in property /construction (
• Preferably qualified RICS
• Experienced in tendering procedures (tenders, quotations, commercial negotiations).
