Expected duration: 6 months with prospect of extending or converting to permanent
Our client is one of the worlds the largest tech companies. They own one of the most successful video and on demand streaming services. They are looking for a Digital marketing manager/product manager to join their team. This person will be responsible for driving acquisition, engagement, and retention for Live Sports content through their owned & operated digital channels.
This role will involve planning, agreeing, and executing on-site digital campaigns. You will become an expert in using in-house digital marketing and scheduling tools to run campaigns while continually testing and improving existing processes to make them more effective and efficient. You will collaborate with teams around the world to provide insights and learnings that can be globalised for your channels and Live Sports.
To be successful in this role you will have a mix of marketing and product management skills, as well as being comfortable with new tools and technologies. Your marketing knowledge together with your analytical and problem-solving skills, will lead you to deliver against tangible business growth metrics for your channel. You will work autonomously, build relationships outside of your immediate team and have demonstrable experience in managing multiple and diverse stakeholders. You will push the boundaries by testing and optimising towards achieving easily discoverable Live Sports content on the portal/app within a dynamic and personalised customer experience, driving awareness and engagement across multiple European locales.
Key responsibilities
- Define and set up on-site campaign plans for Live Sports events on the streaming app and website and Owned & Operated marketing channels with the goal of converting customer interest into engagement with our content.
- Deliver consistent channel growth and performance improvements, against key metrics across both the established locales and our expansion into new locales.
- Define your channel strategies and manage a continuous, meticulously planned, and documented test plan.
- Write proposals, testing road-maps and campaign reviews, to delivered up to VP level and shared globally
- Handle insight and performance tracking for your channels.
- Forecast and deep dive channel performance and future growth opportunities.
- Work closely with other marketing teams internally, to ensure key launches and partnerships are well supported.
- Drive the implementation of new, scalable programs in partnership with Product teams across the global organisation.
Requirement
- Professional experience in digital marketing/product marketing
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
- Experience crunching data on Excel or similar tools and analysing metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Ability to learn and operate in-house digital marketing scheduling tools
- Experience in stakeholder management, working with a wide range of internal partners, to document and present strategies and provide periodic updates to internal and external audiences
- Manage blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make trade-offs, and meet committed delivery timelines
- Experience working with Tech teams to develop or improve tooling and/or user features
- Passion or interest for the Sports and the digital entertainment industry
- A good understanding of digital products and interactive entertainment
- Experience in multi-territory digital campaign management
- Fluent in English and ideally another European language (German, French and/or Italian) (Desirable but not essential)
