Summary of the role: This position involves researching new schools and approaching them over the telephone to generate new leads for the sales team. Your target audience will be schools and Head Teachers across Asia
The role
- Research & Approach schools: research schools across Vietnam, Malaysia or China and then find out if they are interested in learning about the new learning technology and techniques to engage children
- Find the names , emails and contact numbers for Heads of Department and Head Teachers
- Then Say “Hello” : Send out emails to introduce the service: work with the marketing team to send out bulk emails to a target list of contacts
- Follow-up to assess whether they are interested in learning more
- Alert the sales team if the potential client expresses interest
- Stay in touch and send occasional gentle courtesy emails
- Social media: Use social media / communities and online resources to identify key contacts within targeted local authorities / accounts and build network of relationships
- Deal with inbound enquiries: Answer in-coming enquiries originating from the website
- Put together quotations
- Research competitor activity and get to understand the sector
- Attend educational Events: Go to education related exhibitions and conferences
- Meet Head Teachers and education experts
- Establish rapport
- Stay in touch
Requirements:
You must have some previous outbound calling experience (this could have been gained in Market research roles)
- Degree educated
- Fluent in English + an additional Asian Language ( Vietnamese/Thai/Malay )
- Happy on the phone making outbound calls
- Ideally some experience of dealing with schools
