Title: DIRECTOR of Transformation (PROCUREMENT)

Salary : £159, 500 (£120,000 + 25% bonus and £9500 car allowance)
Location : High Wycombe . Hybrid work
Overview : Newly created and exciting role for an experienced Director overseeing transformation in which you will be supporting this global business as it changes, develops and sets up a new Centre of Excellence. This is a key strategic role in which you will ensure that fresh business initiatives are prioritised and delivered successfully and drive continuous improvement in development practices/processes within teams and across the business.
In a nutshell you will work with the leadership team to set up a Centre for Excellence that will drive change and that covers 4 key areas:
1) Establish & Standardises business processes: to ensure the delivery of key projects and programmes
2) Measure & Ensure consistency across the business to support the business in achieving KPIs
3) Report: Chair forums and report on project status
4) Coach /Mentor : Develop (and embed) a sound resource planning approach to ensure the business has the capacity to deliver on annual plans
Duties
- Establish then standardise the Programme Management Office and Centre of Excellence operating model
- Create business plans and KPI’s
- Oversee all planning , executing, tracking, budgeting and scheduling of all projects
- Develop an environment that ensures accountability, consistency, and high-quality delivery
- Drive quality improvements
- Measure & Ensure Consistency
- Understand/manage the delivery plan versus resource constraints
- Create dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics to measure project progress
- Establish best practice in category management, strategic sourcing, project management and quality assurance
- Identifying resource bottlenecks & resource availability
- Report
- Document all governance procedures
- Work with finance to track progress against key organisational KPI’s
- Produce reports on progress, decisions, key risks/issues, recommendations and savings realised
- Chair governance forums
- Coach & Mentor : Develop and embed change
- Ensure project leads have the right tools, templates and process in place
- Liaise constantly with Project Leads, Finance & Legal teams
- Coach and mentor project management practitioners
- Share knowledge of best practices to ensure consistency of approach across the teams
- Ensures project teams are staffed effectively to support the execution of projects

- Experience in leading an organisation through a large-scale transformation: Essential
- Experience of complex project and programme delivery
