Salary: £24,000-28,000 (DOE) on pro rata basis

We are recruiting a Portuguese speaking SEO Copywriter for our client, a fast-growing company leader in optometry supplying, based in Central London. You will join a friendly team with a great atmosphere at work, regularly hosting social events as a team.

The role:
The role will be responsible for delivering copy across all marketing channels. Working across projects for the website, social, email and PR.

Required skills/experience:
*Fluent in Portuguese to mother tongue level
*Fluent in written and spoken English
*Previous experience writing copy for ecommerce websites, with an emphasis on SEO
*Strong communicator who can engage and convert website visitors into customers
*Experience of working within the Portuguese market in an SEO Copywriting role
*Strong interpersonal, organisational, time management and teamwork skills
*Good understanding of SEO and the importance of good copywriting for improving rankings
*Creative thinker
*IT skills
oUnderstanding of CMS systems and how content uploading and editing works
oBasic understanding of HTML
oSEO tools such as: Majestic SEO, AHREFs, Open Site Explorer, BuzzSumo (Useful)
*Understanding of/interest in contact lenses, eye care products and optometry is highly desirable

Responsibilities:
*Localisation of existing UK copy for the Portuguese market of website
*Optimisation of existing content for the Portuguese market
*Conduct appropriate keyword research to ensure copy is optimised
*Content optimisation for the transactional purchase user journey content
*Report on project status to internal stakeholders
*On-page SEO recommendations (internal links, providing copy for meta data)
*Create and write content for social media and emails
