Pay rate: £12.40 to £16.80 per hour (depending on experience) + Holiday pay
Hours: 40 hours per week
Expected duration: 9 months with prospect for extending or converting to permanent
Our client is a global Tech business. (EMEA) Communications team seeks an individual with high judgement to support a team of Communications professionals. The right candidate will have proven ability to gather information from culturally and geographically diverse stakeholders, impeccable writing skills, experience coordinating and producing reports, managing small-scale programs, and creating processes and benchmarks to measure the team’s effectiveness and success with its activities and campaigns.
The successful candidate should be an excellent collaborator and be able to communicate clearly and compellingly with the Communications team. You will wear many hats, work fast and smart, and adapt and iterate quickly. We are looking for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and join a team that is tackling complex, interesting, and challenging issues. You should also be exceptional at building relationships across cultures.
Responsibilities:
- Create coverage reports for announcements, industry news, and events
- Work with external vendors to coordinate executive speaker certification programs
- Work with Communications professionals and PR agencies across the EMEA region to gather information and report on our campaigns
- Build and manage internal wikis
- Manage central database of program information and data
- Coordinate team meeting agendas and support team offsites
- Support press programs at major international events
- Build and manage internal newsletters
Requirements
- Educated to degree level, ideally within communications, PR, Media, or Marketing
- 2+ years’ experience in PR (agency or in-house), AR, marketing, or program management
- Experience coordinating and producing reports
- Experience managing programs independently
- Outstanding attention to detail and program management experience
- Willingness to travel for events and summits within the EU and possibly US
- Experience working with Salesforce is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Exceptional organisational and logistics skills
- Maintain high-level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Pivots quickly and can react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events which require timely response or turnaround
- Ability to take on increased responsibility as the position advances
