Title: GERMANY: German Distribution Manager (Food Supply chain and Logistics)

Languages: Fluent German and English

Location : Germany ( near to Dusseldorf)

Salary Total comp of Euro 76,864

(comprised of €62k basic, 10% bonus and a car allowance of €8664)

The company : A non profit organisation specialising in food

Purpose: Working with a portfolio of direct -to-store logistics distributors : The Distribution Manager is responsible for

procurement & management of distribution services in Germany
Ensuring that those distribution services are provided in accordance with each distributors contract
improve operational efficiencies
driving down distribution costs

DUTIES

Managing distributor performance, stock availability etc
Review and assess distributor performance
Help to make operational efficiencies and service
Ensure distributors maintain standards whilst minimising cost increases
Suggest distribution improvements
Undertake re-tenders and general market research
Work in conjunction with the purchasing teams, suppliers and the supply chain team to identify projects which will improve the capability of direct-to-store deliveries
Work on global distribution projects
Ensure project implementation (on time and within budget)

REQUIREMENTS

Fluent English and German
Extensive Supply chain / distribution experience / expertise
Strong analytical skills; numerate with the ability to decipher complex information
Based in Germany
