Title: Business Development Manger (permanent & full time role)

Location: Bank, London

Salary: From £30,000 + commission+company laptop, phone and travel expenses

A boutique Investment and Wealth Management firm based in bank, London who predominantly focus on the HNW/UHNW clients from Fast East. The firm has been established since 2011 and provides portfolio management service specifically to UK tier 1 investor clients. We are currently trying to target UK BNO market.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Result driven candidate with existing client base preferred
• Proven track record of client development and client acquisition
• Strategic thinker, be proactive and act as an entrepreneur to increase the firm’s exposure within the target market, carrying out business development and networking to identify new areas for growth and client acquisition.
• Going to networking events on a regular basis to engage with potential HNW/UHNW clients
• Travelling on a regular basis to meet with the HNW/UHNW clients
• Excellent communication in both Chinese and English
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a private banker and/ or BDM for Chinese HNW/UHNW Clients (on-shore and off-shore)
• Passion for wealth management and have sound knowledge of global financial markets and current affairs
• A team player with the highest professional work ethic and standards who is decisive, innovative and able to cope under pressure
• Working with other members of the team to ensure the highest degree of client satisfaction is met
• Maintain the highest standard to ensure quality and compliant on-boarding and ongoing monitoring of client relationships.
• Up to date regulatory knowledge that will apply to your clients and their wealth
• Ensure all KYC, AML and other Compliance screenings are adhered to
• To be responsible for assessing risk tolerance and investment suitability of each client and marketing appropriate products and services

• Qualified to RDR level 4 and CF30 preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads

Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
