Locations: Head Office in Barnet; National travel when required

Purpose of the role:
The role of Head of Investment is to lead the investment and acquisition of commercial properties, support the expansion of the Group in restaurant business and property business, and manage the investment activities of the Group.
Responsibilities:
- Source potential commercial property opportunities for opening new restaurants and expanding the portfolio of property business for the Group.
- Analyse the potential opportunities in terms of profitability, the period of investment, strength and constraints etc.
- Lead pre-acquisition assessments to establish the business model for the potential opportunities.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to conduct due diligence and collect further information required for company decisions.
- Negotiate acquisitions with vendors and relevant parties to achieve a best deal in line with the potential business model.
- Work with relevant parties to ensure a smooth transaction for the acquisitions.
- Monitor market information and build up an account of active opportunities according to the investment aptitude of the Group.
- Maintain close relationships with external stakeholders such as agencies, vendors, local authorities, consultants and law firms to stay informed about recent updates and extend the networks for investment activities.
- Oversee the property portfolio of the Group, review the asset performance and suggest the opportunity to improve investment returns.
- Work closely with senior management and internal stakeholders to manage the investment activities of the Group.
- Manage the exit of the investment and the disposal of the Group properties when needed.
- Support senior management on other duties.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree, such as investment, real estate etc.
- Trackable records in the acquisition and successful transaction of commercial properties in the UK.
- Strong experience in leading acquisition and due diligence process.
- Strong understanding of commercial property market and good knowledge of planning permission related rules in the UK.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills and management skills.
- Excellent skills in investment analysis.
- Proficient with MS Office and investment analysis software.
