Hours: 9AM-5:30PM typical hours (37.5 hours per week)
Duration: 6 months’
Pay rate: £16.00 – £17.00 per hour (equivalent £32k – £33k)
Our client is a world leading E-commerce business and are looking for a Spanish speaking account manager to join their team at their amazing revamped offices in Central London. The role will involve working for one of their business divisions and managing relationships with suppliers who use the platform to advertise their inventory, activities, and ticket products.
You will also be responsible for negotiating terms, optimising products to suit the client portfolio. As well as that, you will research new prospective clients/suppliers and negotiate new contracts.
This role requires strong attention to detail, and the ability to master technical systems and processes, as well as excellent communication skills, both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities
. Build strong relationships with tour, activity and attraction suppliers
. Research destinations, identify partnership opportunities, and drive outreach to target attractions and tour operators
. Lead Generation – develop product portfolio in your assigned region
. Convert both inbound and outbound leads, with focus on key target list
. Negotiate business terms, including net rates and margins
. Proactively reach out to suppliers and provide recommendations to improve product quality
. Monitor competitive pricing, and secure special offers to drive booking conversion
. Retain supply, secure inventory, and develop new products to meet consumer demand
. Identify new opportunities to up-sell existing accounts to improved product terms
. Analyse sales performance and leverage supplier relationships to optimize revenue growth
. Serve as main point of contact for current suppliers to help resolve issues and answer questions
. Collaborate with internal stakeholders; participate in special projects and initiatives
. Proactively suggest improvements to current systems and processes to contribute independently to continuous process improvement
. Attend trade events, participate in regional speaking engagements as needed, and collaborate with destination marketing organizations and visitor bureaus
Key Skills & Experience
. Minimum 2 years account, content and/or inventory management experience, preferably with an online company; travel industry experience preferred; experience with tour operators highly regarded
. Excellent written and oral communication skills
. Familiarity with MS Excel, CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) and content management systems
. Ability to organize multiple priorities simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
. Flexible and adaptable personality; self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
. Bachelor’s Degree required
. Language: Business proficiency Spanish & English
