Title: Accountant (Part OR fully qualified)
Location: North London, 100% office based

Salary: £42,000 – £50,000
Hours: Mon – Fri – 9am – 5pm
We are looking for a part qualified or fully qualified accountant to join a chartered accountancy firm based in North London. Our client is looking for a professional individual who can handle the full bookkeeping functions for their existing clients
Duties
- Support the team with a client portfolio consisting of SME and entrepreneurial businesses
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Review of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Corporation tax computation
- Review of corporation tax returns
- Prepare Profit and Loss and Balance sheets
- Corresponding with clients and regulatory authorities (HMRC, Companies House etc) as required
- Drafting personal tax returns for sole trader and company directors
Requirements
- Experience in working in Accountancy Practise would be advantageous
- Experience using Sage/VT/Quickbooks/Iris
- Fluent English
- Part or fully ACCA or ACA qualification
