TITLE: WELSH: Environmental online customer care
Location: Cardiff
Contract type: Temporary work for 10 weeks (with the view to become permanent).
Pay rate: £9.90 per hour – equivalent to £19,800 annual salary
Start date: 1 November – January 14, 2023
Company: An environmental charity with a focus on replacing woodland areas in the UK.
This is a specific project focusing on Wales.
About the role
This is an exciting project that gives every home in Wales a free tree to plant. There are about 300k trees to give away of which 200k are to be planted in Wales. This is a B2C role
- Taking inbound calls from the general public (including type of tree to be planted, ordering process etc)
- Responding to queries via email as well as over the phone
- Assisting the rest of the team when the Welsh line is quiet
- Dealing with orders
- Managing enquires
- Explaining the ordering system
- Coordinating deliveries
- Assisting with logging on and other IT issues
- Providing assistance with the online application form
- Giving directions to the closest tree collection point
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent Welsh
- Basic Excel skills
- Inbound calling
- Outbound calling
- Available from the 1 of November 2022
- Customer care experience
- Having worked with charities is plus
- Having worked with Conservation is a plus
