Job Purpose
Creating original and innovative luxury soft toys, the Company combines luxurious fabrics with quirky and cute designs and sells its products online and via stockists throughout the US, UK, Europe and the rest of the world.
The China eCommerce Team manages the five online flagship stores of the Company with our business partners in China. The role of Sales Executive will coordinate the work and provide support in various aspects of the business, including the management of flagship store, sales campaign, operation, new product launch, digital marketing, etc., to achieve the business goals of the team and ensure sustainable growth of the brand in China.
The role holder work within the China eCommerce team in London but will work closely with our colleagues in our Shanghai office, as well as IT, Logistics and Finance teams, to facilitate smooth operation of our stores and effective implementation of projects.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Sales
- Overseeing the operation of our flagship store with the external agency in Shanghai on sales, logistic and stock management
- Assisting the team in the preparation of monthly sales campaign and managing the campaign progress regarding stock, orders, etc.
- Inspecting the design of campaign pages and product information of to ensure visual appeal and accuracy
- Attending weekly meetings with the agency (and eCommerce platforms, whenever required)
- Providing general assistance to the team as required
Operation
- Being the main point of contact with the Logistics team and warehouses: on campaign forecast, stock and order management as well as processing of B2C orders
- Managing the stock reserves of the team, including monthly sales campaigns, monthly core line reserves, fast-moving lines and new product launch
- Collaborating with the external agency to ensure accuracy of stock level on our stores
- Providing assistance to the China eCommerce Assistant Manager in the logistic arrangement of replenishment in our warehouse
- Liaising with our external agency to ensure their Design Team follows the style and design direction stipulated by the Company
Product information and new product launch
- Managing the launch and planning ahead with the external agency and the Content Team at the Company to ensure the new collection is launched according to the scheduled date
- Coordinating the preparation of product shots and description on the set-up of new product listings
- Arranging the Chinese translation of product description with an external agency, reviewing the contract and proofreading the final translations to ensure accuracy
- Delivering catalogues and samples with assistance from the Sales Associate
Digital marketing
- Assisting the eComm and Marketing teams in liaising with the digital marketing agency for the preparation of the monthly social media plan
- Reviewing and managing the administrative work required for ensuring a smooth implementation of the digital marketing plan
Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Behaviours
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role in the China eCommerce sector
