Salary: £65,000 to £75,000 per annum

About II Research
Our client is a leading provider of market insight in the financial industry, providing independent feedback on sell-side and corporate performance, with a global presence in EMEA, Asia Pacific, North America and Latin America. The team conducts multiple surveys each year across equities and fixed income.
The business has gone through a period of rapid growth in recent years, so a key business driver for the coming year is to retain current clients. Independent and proactive marketing is a cornerstone of the growth strategy.
The marketing department consists of two individuals – the Marketing Director and the Marketing Manager, who reports directly to the Marketing Director. The Marketing Director will report into the company’s head of research
The Role
- The key focus for 2023 is to ensure that established marketing processes run smoothly and effectively.
- Marketing campaigns are multi-channel including social media, email marketing, and some physical document production.
- The role is flexible and hybrid, with the expectation of two days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day workload of the Marketing Dept.
- Manage priorities and expectations of stakeholders. Meeting Head of Research weekly to discuss workload and priorities.
- Add value to current clients by making sure the business is front of mind (newsletters and social media) and that they derive value from the Insights Dashboard product.
- Producing and executing marketing plans for the surveys.
- Managing the marketing schedule of activities during each survey cycle.
- Overseeing marketing campaigns.
- Managing quarterly newsletters including content creation and collection.
- Writing PR for surveys.
- Project managing the 2023 Awards Events (up to three).
- Managing Dashboard users’ campaigns.
- Active participation in team meetings.
Requirements
- Five years’ experience in marketing at a manager level.
- Previous experience of financial services, specifically investment banking (not retail)
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot would be hugely beneficial.
- Familiarity with social media marketing channels (especially LinkedIn).
- All elements of campaign management from design to execution.
- Strong written (English) and verbal communication skills; copywriting skills a plus.
- Proven ability to “hit the ground running”, with a short handover
- Ability to manage a complex workload and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
- Understanding of an equities businesses including the role of investor relations.
- Creative and critical thinking skills, to analyse data and uncover insights.
- Demonstrated experience in creating successful marketing collateral
