Role: Business Operation Executive
Pay rate: £105 to £135 per day (PAY) + Holiday pay (Equivalent to 27k to 35k per annum)
Expected duration: 9 months (with a possibility to extend or convert to permanent)
Start: ASAP
Location: Remote working (some office attendance maybe required for meetings)
Office Location: Central London
Our client is a global tech business. They are looking for a talented individual to join their Marketing Business Operations Team, which plays a critical role in marketing process by executing efficient and accurate processing of purchase orders and invoicing.
The role will report to the Operations Business Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to work quickly and accurately to execute SOPs, be comfortable with large transaction volumes and data sets, analyse data flow and processes, and have a passion for finding efficiencies and simplification.
This is a role which requires good communication skills, customer service and the ability to build relationships with various internal and external teams.
The team expect all team members to develop with the company, and so expect that additional responsibilities to be assigned outside of normal day-to-day activities in line with this personal development.
Responsibilities
- Action ticket requests to resolve real time invoicing issues with internal teams and external vendors
- Creating new Purchase Orders
- Updating Purchase Orders
- Monitor dashboards to get ahead of issues.
- On-boarding new vendors into the internal systems
- Support the operations team in tracking accruals and reporting against them
- Compliance checks
- Invoice issue resolution
- Expediting payments
Required skills
- Education to degree level or equivalent (Essential)
- Around 1-4 years post graduation experience with processing Purchase Orders (POs), business requests for internal business teams or divisions
- Strong system analytical skill supported by ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable priorities.
- Excellent communication skills. English reading and writing are required.
- Strong MS Office skills including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables (Desirable)
- Some understanding of finance and payment process in an operational environment of rapid growth.
- Ability to build trust and maintain relationship with related team in the process.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workload.
